HealthLab is built in Ukraine by Kyrylo Holovchenko, an independent developer and the founder of HealthLab.
Editorial policy
- The blog articles are written by the app’s developer.
- Most articles cite clinical guidelines and primary sources and list them at the end.
- Every article shows its publication date and, when revised, its last-update date.
- Articles are updated when guidelines change.
- Articles are not reviewed by a physician.

Privacy
Your data is stored on your iPhone. iCloud sync and family cabinet sharing run only if you turn them on, under your own Apple ID. Lab report recognition, prescription and medicine-box photo scans, and AI summaries and explanations go through HealthLab's server to Google Gemini and are not stored on that server.
