No. Your lab results, medications, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. If you turn on optional iCloud sync, that data syncs only through your own private iCloud (Apple CloudKit) — strictly between your own devices signed into the same Apple ID. It never passes through HealthLab's servers — Apple's iCloud provides the transport and storage under your own Apple ID, and HealthLab has no access to it. Family cabinet sharing is a separate feature: it shares only the cabinet contents and the restock list, not lab results. The exceptions are AI features you invoke yourself: AI recognition of lab results (PDF or photo), photo add to the cabinet, and prescription import send the image through our proxy to an AI service (no logging, deleted right after processing), and AI Summary sends de-identified biomarker values.

Your PDF is converted to an image on-device, then sent via our proxy server to our AI recognition service. The proxy does not log requests, does not store images, and deletes them after processing. All calls are authenticated via Apple App Attest — hardware-backed device attestation.

Core features are free forever — saving results, medications, reminders, basic trends. Pro subscription unlocks AI PDF recognition, prescription import, and future AI capabilities.

No. All labs are supported via automatic recognition — Ukrainian (Synevo, Dila, CSD, Alex-2) and any international lab. Just upload PDF, HEIC, JPG, or PNG — HealthLab extracts all parameters regardless of document language.

Internet is required only for AI PDF recognition. Viewing saved results, trends, and medications works offline.

Yes. Create full medication courses with a schedule and reminders, log your intake, and track your tablet supply: the days-left count sits on the course card and updates with every confirmed dose, so you check it yourself. Available for free on your primary profile.

The cabinet is a dedicated section for everything in your home medicine cabinet — from prescription drugs to vitamins and first-aid supplies. Every item shows its expiration date in the list for free. Push alerts 3 days before expiry, plus 30- and 14-day advance notices delivered in the weekly digest, are part of Pro. Add items manually for free, or by photographing the package (Gemini Vision, Pro). Stored locally on device.

Turning sharing on is a Pro feature for the cabinet owner. Once it's on, you invite a family member, and your home medicine cabinet and restock list sync between your iPhones directly through private iCloud (Apple CloudKit Share) — the data is transported and stored by Apple's iCloud under your Apple ID, not on HealthLab's servers. The invited family member can accept the invite and view everything for free; editing shared items needs Pro on their side too. It's opt-in and you can turn it off anytime.

No. HealthLab requires no registration, email, or login. All data — lab results, medications, your medicine cabinet — is stored locally on your iPhone via SwiftData. iCloud sync is opt-in and stays within your own private iCloud. No analytics on your medical records. Your data belongs to you.
