Terms of Use

Acceptance of terms
By using the HealthLab app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Not a medical device
HealthLab is a tool for storing and viewing lab results, as well as planning medication intake and reminders. The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.
Any data displayed in the app does not replace consultation with a qualified medical professional.
Accuracy of lab result recognition
Results of automatic PDF and photo recognition may contain errors. The recognition algorithm is not perfect and may incorrectly read values, units of measurement, or reference ranges.
Always verify displayed data against the original document. Do not rely solely on recognition results when making decisions.
Prescription import
The paper prescription scanning feature uses artificial intelligence to extract medication names, dosages, and schedules. The recognition result may contain errors — incorrect medication name, dose, frequency, or duration.
Before saving a schedule, always verify each extracted item against the original prescription. The developer is not responsible for missed, incorrectly extracted, or incorrectly entered medications.
Medications and reminders
The "Medications" feature lets you plan medication intake and receive local reminders. HealthLab only notifies you of the time to take medications according to the schedule you entered — the app does not prescribe, adjust, or recommend medications or dosages.
Local notifications may fail to trigger due to iOS limitations (Do Not Disturb mode, low battery, disabled notifications, Focus modes, etc.). Do not rely solely on app reminders for critical medications.
All decisions regarding intake, dosage, missed doses, and therapy adjustment should be made in consultation with a doctor.
AI summary of results
The AI summary feature uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate explanations of lab results and an overview commentary on the biomarker dashboard. This feature is available to Pro subscribers and can be disabled in Settings.
AI summaries are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. AI summary results may contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information.
You should not make medical decisions based on AI summaries without consulting a qualified medical professional. The developer is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
Sharing reports
The "Share results" feature lets you create PDF reports with your data and share them via the standard iOS interface. Reports are created on your device.
You bear full responsibility for sharing your own medical data. Ensure that you only share reports with trusted individuals or medical professionals.
User responsibility
You bear full responsibility for interpreting lab results and any decisions made based on them. HealthLab only provides a convenient way to store and view data and is not responsible for how it is used.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
The developer of HealthLab is not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including decisions made based on data displayed in the app.
Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms. The current version is always available at healthlab.pro/en/terms-of-use/. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
